Sir — This refers to the editorial, “Perils of being sensible” (October 8). Congress MP Shashi Tharoor need not have praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He should not have crossed his party’s red line. Even if Mr Tharoor liked the Swachch Bharat Abhiyan, he could have kept his comments to himself.
