Sir — This refers to the editorial, “It’s Uttar Pradesh, okay!” (February 7).
If deductions hold right, the State’s senior Minister Mohammed Azam Khan’s comparison with his lost-and-found buffaloes’ popularity with that of Queen Victoria was sardonic, that stemmed from the brouhaha in the media over a usual first information report of theft lodged with the local police. There’s no need to blast Mr Khan for it.
