Sir — This refers to the article, “Several options, no alternative” (July 9) by SK Sinha.
The writer has successfully uncovered the ugly, hypocritical face of Indian politicians, and the corruption that thrives in every sphere of governance. He has balanced it well by listing the shortcomings of not just the ruling Congress, but also the BJP and other regional parties.
He is right about the national ambitions of the regional parties that will never be able to come together on a common platform — hence talk of a Federal Front is indeed meaningless and should be dismissed.
