Sir — This refers to the article, “PM Modi’s forgotten promises to the military” (August 31) by Ashok K Mehta. It is high time that the nation and the political class in particular, carry out an honest introspection of the state of affairs of the military and provide them with money,
material and morale so that it remains motivated. Prime Minister Narendra Modi must act before its too late.
