Sir — This refers to the editorial, “It is time to celebrate” (September 25). In fact, the social media is a double-edged weapon, benefiting if used in a constructive way and harming if done otherwise. Ironically, it is being exploited by some to foist personal views about significant matters as nationalism, patriotism and liberalism on others in an aggressive way and thereby, causing misunderstanding, despite the fact that divergence of views and opinions does amount to hostility.
