Sir — The issue of heavily subsidised food at the Parliament canteen has been highlighted before as well. Irrespective of which party is in power, the Indian public has to twist and turn itself to face rising inflation while its well-paid political representatives continue to eat subsidised food in Parliament. The prices of essential food items are sky-rocketing, but we are unsure what action the Government is taking to control inflation.
