Sir — This refers to the editorial, “Note-worthy decision” (November 10). The fight against black money has been part of a global call to stem the war on terror. The war on cash is a far more nuanced one than dropping bombs. It’s a bold and definitive move by a Government that has given the sizeable non tax-paying populace considerable leeway like the bronze, silver and gold certificates and thanking them for their money. Indeed, this move is a Modi masterstroke.
