Mocked abroad

Sir — This refers to the report, “NaMo tells Nawaz to mind his language” (September 30). A national daily’s report from New York is unambiguous in saying that Pakistan’s Prime Minister mocked his Indian counterpart with an unflattering story.

The story may have been said off-the record, but the report confirmed that Mr Sharif had indeed narrated the story with reference to the Indian Prime Minister’s complaint to the US President against Islamabad.
