Sir — This refers to the report, “IPS officer in soup for making cops work as domestic helps” (July 12). Misuse of subordinate employees as domestic servants by bureaucrats is a common affair. Successive Governments are aware of this outrageous phenomena, but are either ignorant or consciously neglect this issue for vested interests.
The accusation by Telangana Rashtra Samithi MlA V Srinivas Goud that Indian Police Service officers, who are obliged to be protectors of law, have turned lawbreakers by pursuing a system discreetly abolished by the regime, is true, besides disgraceful for our country. Expecting genuine justice from such unscrupulous officials is a delusion only.
