Sir — This refers to the article, “Not a spoilt child, but indeed a rogue nation” (November 28) by Joginder Singh. The writer has aptly traced the history of Pakistan. First, the British gave all the areas to Pakistan which had a Muslim majority (like west Punjab, Sind, the North West Frontier, east Bengal and Balochistan), but left one-third of the Muslims to India, although 40 per cent of Pakistan (Balochistan) was enough to absorb them. But a boastful Jawaharlal Nehru was proud of secularism though he was the first to accept Pakistan, based on a two-nation theory, to enable him to become the Prime Minister. Since then, India has been so liberal that it has given back to Pakistan all the areas it won in conflicts through the valour and sacrifice of our Armed Forces.
