Sir — This refers to the editorial, “Communal calculations” (April 4). The editorial correctly sums up that Congress president Sonia Gandhi’s meeting with the Jama Masjid’s Shahi Imam is a blatant act of communal politics to seek tactical voting from the Muslim community, in a bid to stop the surge of the BJP under Mr Narendra Modi. Indians are suffering from price rise, inflation and poor governance. But all that Ms Gandhi wants is communal voting.
