Sir — This refers to the article, “Hasina’s bonding with her boudi” (August 24) by Vivek Shukla. Unfortunately, a factual error has crept into an otherwise excellently written piece. The writer noted that Sheikh Hasina had not joined the protest demonstration in front of the Pakistan High Commission in New Delhi during the War of liberation of Bangladesh in 1971. The fact is that she was not in India at that time; she was in Germany.
