Sir — This refers to the article, “Going round in circles, with nothing to show” (September 2) by Ashok K Mehta.
The author presents an excellent analysis of the India-Pakistan impasse and the superficial, meaningless dialogue between the Prime Ministers of the two countries. We have always been led up the garden path by Islamabad. It’s now time for some meaningful work. For that, we need to gear up and improve our security apparatus and defence capabilities.
