It emphasises that the voters wanted a positive change, which they found in the BJP. Credit must go to Mr Amit Shah as well for the grand show the party put up in Uttar Pradesh.
As far as the Congress's performance is concerned, we don't need to go beyond Delhi, where its candidates finished a poor third. This sums up the mood against it in the country. The country's oldest political party has paid heavily for its arrogance, corruption scandals and the indifferent approach towards the common man. Hopefully, Mr Modi and his Government will usher us into a new era where we all will again feel proud to be Indians.
