Sir — This refers to the article, “The dark and covert world of black money” (June 24) by Joginder Singh.
The Washington DC-based International Consortium of Investigative Journalists’ expose that huge amounts of black money have been stashed away in offshore entities by Indians, is shocking, to say the least. There appears to be no limit to greed.
If only the rich and the corrupt could curb their avarice, not a single person would live in starvation and penury. Perhaps, our greed is reaching its saturation point, causing even the Almighty to lose patience and punish us in the form of natural disasters.
