This refers to the article, “How relevant is the Rajya Sabha todayIJ” (June 7). The Rajya Sabha was formed with an intention to have a healthy debate on subjects relevant to the laws and the people of this country. Earlier, only intellectuals were nominated to this House, but of late, its existence has lost significance. It has become a channel for back door entry of defeated and rogue politicians.
