This refers to the article, “Add some Machiavelli to Modi's reading list” (December 10) by Gautam Mukherjee. Prime Minister Narendra Modi needs to nurture the constituencies that voted for him in 2014.
The middle class is increasingly getting disenchanted with his Government. There has been no acche din, as Mr Modi had promised. The Modi Government has completely lost the support of the veterans. This will become evident during the 2017 Punjab Assembly poll. If Mr Modi continues in this vein, he will be shown the exit gate in 2019.
