Sir — This refers to the report, “‘Minority’ Rawat Govt sent packing” (March 28). The Congress is to be blamed for the turn of events that led to the imposition of President’s Rule in Uttarakhand. Nine lawmakers of the party had rebelled for change. Had these dissidents been persuaded by the Congress high command to maintain discipline, or had their views been accommodated, such an unfortunate development could have been averted.
