Sir — This refers to the editorial,  “Kejriwal’s callous remark” (January 26). Sadly, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s graph of accusations, which lack evidence, against Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and several constitutional authorities, has seen a sharp rise over the past three years. Obviously, Kejriwal has been emboldened by his repeated success in every such transgression, completely escaping any noticeable damage to himself. 

The ‘path’ was laid by the likes of Congress leaders who openly attacked and even questioning the integrity of the then Comptroller and Auditor-General of India. This is happening because institutions such as the Election Commission appear toothless in meting out exemplary penal consequences.
