Sir — After identifying corruption to be the root cause of the decimation of the Congress in the recently held State elections, the party went on an overdrive to pass the lokpal Bill with the support of the BJP. Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi displayed an attitude of zero-tolerance to corruption.
He is probably not aware how many skeletons remain hidden in his party’s cupboard. For example, a probe committee has submitted its report on the Adarsh scandal, in which four Congress Chief Ministers have been indicted. When Mr Gandhi’s own men are involved, the zero-tolerance approach is abandoned. Also, parties which condone the enormity of the Congress’s corruption are corrupt as well.
