This refers to the editorial, “The grand comeback” (November 9). The people of Bihar have given a clear mandate to Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. There is no doubt that he has transformed the State. He was also successful in bringing down the crime rate in
the State.
However, the result has nothing to do with national politics and neither is it a verdict on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s rule at the Centre. Further, the people did not vote for either the Congress or the RJD. Ideal rule of Mr Kumar has brought him into power again.
