Sir — This refers to the editorial, “The ‘jungle raj’ factor” (August 11). The editorial presents a sound comment of the unholy combination between the RJD and the JD(U) in the forthcoming State election in Bihar. The election will be a litmus test not just for the parties, but also for Bihar’s voters, who have to choose between development and misgovernance.
The opportunistic alliance which Chief Minister and JD(U) leader Nitish Kumar has struck with the RJD, by leaving his long and fruitful association with the BJP, has rightly been termed as Mr Nitish Kumar supping with the devil.
