Sir — This refers to the editorial, “Relief amidst the crisis” (November 23). It’s not that the demonetisation drive has caused only hardships to the common man. The general public is smug with the Government’s decision and is ready to walk an extra mile to extirpate the last farthing of black money.
It’s high time that opposition leaders such as West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and Aam Aadmi Party leader Arvind Kejriwal, in particular, instead of targeting the Government, show some maturity and learn from the common man to endure a little for long-term benefits.
