Sir — This refers to the article, “Justice lies in rehabilitative laws” (August 9) by Anil Malhotra. New laws for rehabilitation is indeed what is needed. laws could be made on setting up cells for rehabilitation in every State capitals/prime cities with adequate needs being addressed.
It must also be ensured that there is an ombudsmen for escalations/complaints etc. Rehabilitation must start as soon first time the doctor confirms rape. Hope things will be better.
