This refers to the editorial, “AAP bites the bullet” (December 24). You have rightly said that Mr Arvind Kejriwal and his party must perform or perish, as the people have reposed great faith in the Aam Aadmi Party and expect that the broom will clean the dark spots in our system.
The AAP has done well to take the decision to form a Government in Delhi, though after much reluctance. People will now see how Mr Kejriwal musters the resources to fulfil the many promises he has made. He will soon realise that the many assurances he has given can be difficult to meet because of paucity of funds and for administrative reasons. He faces a big challenge, therefore, both on the financial and the executive fronts.
Meanwhile, he should not have resorted to the silly gesture like taking oath at the Ramlila ground. He is going to be the Chief Minister of Delhi and should stop behaving like a street activist.
