Kejriwal refuses to learn; he remains irresponsible

This refers to the report, “AAP sounds lS poll bugle from Cong bastion” (February 24). One had hoped that after his 49-day disappointing foray in the Delhi Government and the widespread disapproval of his confrontationist posture, Mr Arvind Kejriwal would have become wise and moderate.

But, alas, it was not to be. In his inaugural lok Sabha poll rally in Rohtak in Haryana, he was as offensive, loose-tongued and undignified as ever. Even his mentor, Anna Hazare's public reprimand of “love for office” and Government facilities, seem to have had no impact. By accusing the Congress and the BJP as well as the media, all “bought” by industrialist Mukesh Ambani, the former Delhi Chief Minister did not realise that implicitly he was insinuating against the Indian people at large. If he is a serious player in national politics, it is time for him to shed his street-agitator style and come out with a real agenda of public welfare through good governance.
