Kejriwal must realise what his priorities are

This refers to the report, “Kejriwal says judges' phones being tapped, Centre denies” (November 1). Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is known for his loose tongue and lack of dignity. He has been frequently accusing Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the BJP and the lieutenant Governor for all his problems — most of them self-created. One has lost count of his indiscretions and insensitivities vis-à-vis his political opponents.

Voters of Delhi had given Kejriwal an overwhelming mandate to provide a good, corruption-free governance; he has offered them controversy after controversy. His has been a case of misgovernance. He has been more focussed on expanding his Aam Aadmi Party's footprints in all States, beginning with Punjab, Goa and Gujarat, to fight elections there. It did not occur to him that he must concentrate in Delhi to give the voters a good Government that resolves their serious problems of day-to-day living. Instead, what the people of Delhi have got is meaningless antics by the Chief Minister.
