Sir — This refers to the editorial, “New look at juvenile Act” (December 2). Crimes committed by juveniles have been on the rise. The editorial points in the right direction that the Centre and the courts must reconsider the flaws in the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act. No mercy should be shown to juvenile criminals, who commit heinous crimes.
