Sir — This refers to the article, “SC collegium: Judicial oligarchy crumbles” (September 6) by Sandhya Jain. The article casts light on the inefficiency of the judicial system in our country which has resulted in pendency of cases since 1993.
Corruption, nepotism, anti-nationals, political activists and criminals can be screened by the media during elections. But it is a shame that the media plays no role to bring transperancy within the judicial system of our country. Something is not right. The President needs to intervene and take action.
