Sir — This refers to the editorial, “Communal cauldron boils” (March 25). One wonders why a particular religious community is an object of contention in all parts of the world. We recently heard of the inhuman situation in Bangladesh. It seems this community, be it in minority or majority, is easily misguided by its clerics and then starts to make its presence felt in a violent and aggressive manner.
This particular community should start introspecting about what mindset changes can be brought about among fellow religionists to ensure better understanding and respect for other faiths. This is a crucial ingredient for peaceful co-existence.
