Inhuman conduct

Sir — This refers to the editorial, “The search for security” (September 5). While the picture of a drowned child has raised lot of humanitarian concern, other factors cannot be ruled out. While in Syria and its neighbouring areas, the Islamic State implements its fanatic rule, people in these areas look forward to settling in Europe by seeking asylum.

last year, the maximum number of people seeking asylum in Britain were the Pakistanis. With an increase in the cases of local citizens in European countries including women trying to join the IS for their cause, the European country faces an increased challenge to security from this flood of asylum.

It is ironic that people are facing inhuman conditions and human rights violation in their own country and are looking forward to humane approach and rights in other countries, which are traditionally abhorred by their own countries. Those who have problem with Western civilisations are seeking to live with ‘human  rights’ in these very countries whom the IS-type people want to destroy.
