Sir — This refers to the news report, “Is marathoner Jaisha daughter of a lesser IndiaIJ” (August 23). It is disgraceful that we could not even provide water to our marathon runner. And we wonder why our country with a billion plus people has fewer gold medals than Jamaica!
The Sports Minister should find out the reason for the failure of providing water to Jaisha, and the guilty should be punished. If administrators are responsible for the mess, they must be dismissed immediately.
