Sir — This refers to the editorial, “Irresponsible politics” (December 17). Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi just has his surname as his credentials. By levelling charges of corruption against Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and then not producing any proof whatsoever, he has further lost credibility. People will surely not take him seriously now.
The editorial has rightly pointed that Rahul Gandhi should have acted maturely. This is one virtue that he has not obtained in the last decade or so, while being part of active politics. In the past too, he voiced his opinion on a few critical issues and then disappeared. He has a track record of being inconsistent.
