Sir — This refers to the editorial, “It’s not a petty matter” (January 15). Union Minister for Home Affairs Sushil Kumar Shinde is thoroughly incompetent and spineless.
It was under his watch as Power Minister that Delhi and many parts of northern India went without electricity for several hours some two years ago. He then had the audacity to blame neighbouring States. Mr Shinde should not only be sacked but also investigated for the many costly blunders that he has committed.
