Sir — This refers to the article, “Knot in the age of innocence” (August 8) by Rinku Kumari. The writer has failed to highlight the misuse of Government funds by official agencies and NGOs. Also, unless illiterate parents are educated and made aware of the social evil of child marriage, it may take many years to improve the situation, more so in the backdrop of a growing population.
