Immature CM

Sir — This refers to the news report, “Anarchist retreats with pyrrhic victory” (January 22). Going by the events over the past few days, it appears that the Aam Aadmi Party has lost the plot. 

The mandate given by the electorate for the AAP was for improved governance, but the party seems bent on undermining the process of law and throwing procedures to the wind. 

After Delhi law Minister Somnath Bharti’s altercation with Delhi Police, it was the turn of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal to lead street protests that crippled traffic and unsettled Delhiites. This is hardly the way to go. Mr Kejriwal needs to be mature in order to get on with the job of governance, for which the electorate has voted him.
