This refers to the editorial, “West Bengal by any name” (August 31). West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee must remember a famous saying by William Shakespeare who said — What’s in the nameIJ Many cities like Bombay, Madras, Calcutta, Bangalore have changed their names, but the name-change has not brought any drastic change in the state of affairs of those cities.
Banerjee has been given another chance to rule the State. Rather than giving importance to inconsequential issues, she must focus on the law and order situation in the State, she must bring back investment to the State and improve its image.
