Ill-timed event

Sir — This refers to the article, “Good music at wrong time for Kashmiris” (September 6) by Padma Rao Sundarji. The writer’s observation is spot on that amid the prevailing tension in the valley, the venue and timing of the much-hyped Ehsas-e-Kashmir music concert was wrong.

Moreover, many political and social organisations had protested against the concert. This really took the sheen off the celebrated event.
