Sir — This refers to the article, “Prime Minister’s mask of integrity must go” (January 7) by A Surya Prakash.
For two terms, Mr Manmohan Singh has enjoyed all the perks that a Prime Minister gets, and he will continue to receive benefits after his term as a former Prime Minister. Mr Singh talks about history being kind to him, but I think history will put him in the same place as that of the unknown Mughal emperors who came between Aurangzeb and Bahadur Shah Zafar.
