Sir — This refers to the editorial, “Brexitannia waives rules” (June 15) First lalit Modi, then Vijay Mallya and now Nirav Modi — they all have taken shelter in the UK — the so called champion of human rights. Besides the above Indians, many other third world countries’ corrupt leaders have migrated there and are splurging their purses filled with ill-gotten wealth. UK will ensure that the commission of an economic offence, criminal breach of trust will take years to prove for Nirav Modi’s extradition. Meanwhile the fugitive will continue to splurge his wallet.
