Sir — This refers to the editorial, “Captain Cool’s decision” (January 6). Mahendra Singh Dhoni was not only India’s best captain in all formats but also the best wicket keeper batsman that India produced and one of the greatest in the world.
He will be best remembered as one of the greatest captains of all time. I don’t think anyone will surpass his achievements in the foreseeable future.
