Sir — It was a red letter day for the Jammu & Kashmir cricket team when it humbled the strong Mumbai team in this year’s Ranji Trophy tournament. Surely, Jammu & Kashmir is no more a minnow in domestic cricket. One hopes that the other sterling display by the people of Jammu & Kashmir — the high voter turnout in the Assembly election — will demonstrate to the separatists and a trouble-making neighbouring country that the populace of the State has fully integrated with the Indian Union.
