Govt's failed efforts

Sir — This refers to the article, “Advertising blitz can’t hide UPA’s failures” (May 17) by Kalyani Shankar.

It is a fact that UPA2 has been a complete disaster in most areas of governance. It has failed to live up to the expectations of the people. The aam aadmi wants basic amenities, a healthy economy, a robust healthcare system and sound employment opportunities. But these have remained a distant dream. In fact, the UPA2 rule is identified more with corruption than governance and professional integrity in high offices. 

Mere advertisements cannot hide the Government’s failure. The people of the country are observing the shenanigans of the Government. The electorate will give a fitting reply in the big election ahead.
