Sir — This refers to the editorial, “Governance is the key” (April 6). After months of instability, Peoples Democratic Party president Mehbooba Mufti was finally sworn in as the Chief Minister of Jammu & Kashmir. Her immediate focus should be on governance so as to fulfill the expectations of the people — not only within the State, but across the country.
The Mehbooba Mufti Government has an uphill task to live up to the promises her party had made before coming to power, especially in the face of a vociferous Opposition, which will now look for an opportunity to blame the PDP-BJP Government.
