Sir — This refers to the report, “Muzaffarnagar boiling with rage, 10 more die” (September 9). The horrific communal violence in Muzaffarnagar is a yet another act of communal aggression. Such incidents have spiralled in recent times. In Kishtwar, in J&K, last month, members of the Hindu community were targeted and their property destroyed.
Today, the standard of politics has sunk so low that opportunistic parties like the Samajwadi Party, the Congress and the National Conference think nothing before indulging in blatant minority appeasement and pursue such policies to the detriment of other communities.
