The apex court’s intention behind the order to play the National Anthem before screening of films, cannot be doubted. But can it be made legalIJ Patriotism must be an in-built character, which requires effort and education from childhood —in schools and at home.
One cannot force others to think or behave in a certain way or challenge their love for the country. Therefore, widespread propaganda on singing and respecting the National Anthem will be a better option.
