This refers to the article, “Exit the Muslim veto, enter the Muslim voter” (March 21) by Sandhya Jain. Secularists have viciously campaigned against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and have painted him as anti-Muslim. But none of the leftist leaders came forward to speak against triple talaq. All remained ignorant about the plight of the Muslim women, who continue to suffer. Thankfully, the Modi Government has taken a firm stand by asking the Supreme Court to abolish polygamy and triple talaq.
