Sir — This refers to the article, “Mallya isn’t the main problem” (March 16) by Shivaji Sarkar. The authorities need to investigate the bank officials who sanctioned the bad loans to Vijay Mallya and the politicians who backed their decisions. If the Prime Minister is serious about fighting corruption, he needs to address this issue head-on, even if it means punishing BJP leaders who may have been involved in Mallya’s case.
