This refers to actor Aamir Khan’s remarks on intolerance. I was shocked to read Mr Khan’s thoughtless remarks that “a sense of insecurity and fear has been growing in the past six or eight months”, and that his wife “even suggested that they should probably leave the country”.
It is incredible that a star, who has been trying to play an active role in social affairs and is an enlightened person, should now join a section of the Indian intelligentsia which is politically motivated and biased, and suddenly sees ‘intolerance’ dominating the country.
