Sir — This refers to the editorial, “A diplomatic offensive” (September 21). India’s diplomatic offensive against Pakistan at the UN General Assembly has been successful. Russia, France, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Germany, the UAE etc have strongly condemned Pakistan’s terrorist-sponsoring and have isolated Islamabad within the international community. This must be carried forward by Minister for External Affairs Sushma Swaraj, who, during her address at the UN General Assembly on September 26, must be eloquent to put Pakistan in the dock. Military option should not be ruled out at an appropriate time.
